Jessica Toda, M.S. joined ACTS in 2019 as a Clinical Fellow in the AAC-CF Mentorship program. She received her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Francisco State University. While at SF State, Jessica completed a specialized training program known as Project Building Bridges, which focused on working with bilingual, multicultural individuals who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication. Prior to pursuing a career in speech-language pathology, Jessica received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development from UC Davis and teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects K-12 and as an Education Specialist from California State University, East Bay. She taught as an Inclusion Specialist in a wide variety of settings from Pre-K to middle school, across the Bay Area. During her time as a special education teacher, Jessica discovered an interest in language and communication, leading her to the field of speech-language pathology. Jessica currently provides AAC Assessment and intervention to children in the home and school settings.
